SCA requires our students to wear uniforms and here are a few reasons why:
· Simplifies dressing and dress code
· Reduces peer pressure and social stigmas
· Encourages distinctions of character and personality instead of appearance
· Places emphasis on learning, not clothing
· Equalizes economic diversity
· Lowers long-term clothing costs
· Facilitates security by identifying outsiders
· Enhances school spirit
· Decreases property theft
Approved SCA Colors for K4-HS students:
Polo shirt colors: navy, white, & burgundy
Pants, shorts, skorts, & skirts: navy & khaki
Required Chapel attire for Wednesdays:
Girls - K4-6th: White Polo and navy skort, jumper, or skirt. Navy pants may be worn December through February.
7th-HS: White Polo and navy skort, scooter, or skirt (no jumpers).
Boys - K4-6th: White Polo and navy pants . Navy shorts may be worn in August and May
7th-HS: White Polo and navy pants.
P.E. uniforms for 7th-HS students: SCA t-shirt, black or navy gym shorts (no shorter than 1” above the knee)

Young ladies - Gray pleated skirt, and burgundy sweater. Item#38365-24U1 Pattern Knee Socks from Lands’ End (these are the only approved pattern socks).
Gentlemen - Gray double knee pants and burgundy sweater.

*All uniforms must conform to the same color and style requirements as approved on the French Toast and Lands' End website. Modesty and moderation are the ideal that each student should try to achieve (1Timothy 4:12). We discourage violent and/or inappropriate characters on clothing, backpacks, lunchboxes, notebook folders, etc. Any questions will be at the discretion of the Principal. Please feel free to call the school office with any questions.
We require all shirts to be tucked in, so be sure when purchasing that they are long enough to stay tucked in.
All shorts, jumpers, scooters, skorts, and skirts are required to be just above the knee.
Belts are required of all 1st - High School students to be worn with pants and shorts that have belt loops.
Only solid navy or white socks can be worn.
Only solid navy sweaters or navy SCA sweatshirts and/or zip up jackets are allowed to be worn in the classroom.
Shoes should be worn that match and complement the uniform. No flip flops, Crocs, or shoes with wheels will be allowed. Athletic and conventional shoes are acceptable. Boots are allowed during cold/inclement weather days.
